Ghost Trapper (Review)

Ghost Trappers is a passive game on Facebook created by Diviad Gmbh. It takes place in Virtual Scotland: a fantasy version of Scotland. Players assume the roles of agents whose tasks are to expose funny ghosts to the unsuspecting world. They do so by taking pictures of the ghosts and collecting them in their photo album. Ghosts can be lured into the traps with the thing they love most: whiskey!(I don't know if they really love this lol).

Each ghost has a "scare factor" that tells you how difficult it will be to catch that ghost in the location where it is first introduced. (The strongest ghosts in one location often become the weakest ghosts in the next location.)

To catch a ghost you'll need Mechanism and Magic Circle.Obviously, your choice of mechanism and magic circle will be heavily dependent on how much Experience (XP) and money you have, but at different points in the game, you may wish to optimise your set-up for cooldown, raw power, etc.,

You need to have something in your trap set-up to attract the attention of a ghost ... it's the bait! Most ghosts love magic potions. Therefore, magic potions and special edition magic potions make great bait for your trap.
For those ghosts who prefer their potions mixed, blended, or garnished, you will be able to mix your magic potions supplies with mixers to create mocktails. Once you've reached Region 2 Borders in the game you will also be able to acquire different recipes. Mocktails and their recipes gained as mission rewards, as daily rewards incentives, or as donations thank-yous can be used anywhere, at any time, even in Dumfries and Galloway. And for the few ghosts who prefer a simpler potion, there's always Maß malt juice!!

Every type of bait in the game has an attraction rating, which is shown in its statistics. Those ratings range from "Very low" to "Partylicious". The more promising the attraction rating is, the more ghosts that are going to be attracted to that bait. Attraction rate is different from the attraction bonus that you get from contracts and companions. A ghost sometimes drop a loot, and if you're lucky one you will received a very rare contracts (to make a contract), blueprint (to make a trap), or molding halves (to make a magic circle).
